9999 Markham Rd Condos is a new master-planned community coming to 9999 Markham Rd, at the southeast corner of Major Mackenzie Drive and Markham Road. 9999 Markham Rd Condos will be built in two separate phases – plans so far depict two (2) 8-storey residential buildings containing 258 apartment units and 178 townhouses.
AMENITIES
The subject land is a 31.7-acre site at the southeast corner of Major Mackenzie Drive and Markham Road. The site used to be home to industrial warehousing and manufacturing by Emerson Electric.
The development will be built in two separate phases. The first phase will work on Block 2, which is a 11.9-acre site that will hold two (2) 8-storey apartment buildings containing 258 apartment units and 178 townhouses.
A public park will be built in two phases – the first phase will develop a 0.54-acre public park at the southeast corner of the land, which will expand into a 1.01-acre park after the second phase is completed.
Block 1, which is proposed to be developed during the second phase of this project, is an 11-acre site that will likely be home to townhouses, mid-rise residential and mixed-use buildings ranging from six to eight storeys.
LOCATION
The Greensborough community is just to the east, a family-friendly neighbourhood populated with several schools such as Sam Chapman Public School, Cornerstone Christian Community Church, Greensborough Public School, and St. Brother André Catholic High School to name a few.

Only a 14-minute walk away, you can then connect to other GO Transit buses, York Region Transit, and TTC buses.
For those of you who are commuting Downtown for work or school, it’ll be a breeze – hop onto the Stouffville GO line at Mount Joy Station and reach Union Station in only seven stops. You won’t even have to get off the train once!
Additionally, the Stouffville GO line is undergoing expansion. In the future, commuters can have access to two-way, all-day train service seven days a week. With more trips on the Stouffville line, travelling time can be reduced by up to 20 percent.
